Hidden Features in ANNI

Note that hidden features are features that have been created for one purpose or another and are not currently exposed to the public. This means they are not supported features and that any use of these features are not guaranteed to work. Use of these features means you understand and accept these terms. Of course any feedback you would like to provide regarding the Hidden Features would be greatly appreciated since they could eventually be cleaned up and exposed to the public.

1. Click the menu item [Help->About]. Once the about dialog opens up, click the F2 button. This will pull up a system info page that can be copied and pasted to another app. It is normally used to determine key parameters for a users computer for diagnostic purposes. This hidden feature requires v3.16.0.0 or greater.

    

2. Select an investment instance to edit. Once the investment editor is open (for a currently existing investment instance), click the F2 button. You will be prompted with a "File Save-As" dialog for which you need to select a location (and name if necessary) to deposit the exported file into. What will get exported is all the currently buffered quotes for that investment instance. Please note that Yahoo Finance users will have many of the columns filled with 0 values. This is because that particular information is not available (i.e. Yahoo Finance doesn't provide it) unless you have a Prophet.Net account for streaming data to ANNI. This hidden feature requires v3.16.0.0 or greater.
    
3. Go to the Portfolio Management view and select an investment instance. Once selected, push and continue to hold the F8 key while you now right click on that selected investment instance. You will see a new popup menu that shows "Money Flow Graph". Selecting that option will bring up a "Money Flow Graph" for analysis purposes. Once the F8 key is selected, to get back the normal popup menu in the Portfolio Management view requires you to select an item again then push, but do not hold, the F8 key. After doing this you should now have the normal popup menu again the next time you right click on an investment instance.
   
   The Money Flow Graph shows how much and what direction the money is flowing for the given investment instance (can be used to help determine true direction of the stock). This feature currently has no popup menu or extended features since it is at the beginning stages of development. It will respond to the "Hide All" option in the Advanced Graphs or Last Trade Dialog and it can be closed entirely by clicking on the graph itself then pushing the "esc" key. This hidden feature requires v3.13.0.0 or greater and a Prophet.Net account since it requires the extended information in the Prophet.Net streaming data to compute.
